Our Student Program helps you gain experience in your area of study in an engaging, professional setting. With the mentorship and support of industry professionals, you’ll contribute to projects that have an impact, gain exposure to different career paths and build your professional network through company events and our staff resource groups.

  • What you'll do

  • Who you'll meet
    • Your Cenovus buddy! Buddies are typically current participants or alumni of our New Grad Program and act as an additional resource and support during your time with us.
    • Depending on the role, you may also be assigned a technical mentor to support your development. 
  • Where you'll work
    • Placements in Canada and the U.S., across our corporate offices and operations.
    • Co-op, summer and practicum opportunities. 
    • Work terms from four to 16 months across multiple disciplines.
  • Who can apply
    • Students enrolled in an undergraduate or advanced degree with a recognized post-secondary institution who:
      • Are legally authorized to work in the country indicated in the posting.
      • Have good academic standing in a program indicated in the posting.

Our New Grad Program helps you jumpstart your career, with confidence. You’ll rotate through meaningful roles, work on interesting projects and use cutting-edge technology to build the skills needed for a successful career.
