Andrew Dahlin

Executive Vice-President, Natural Gas & Technical Services

As Executive Vice-President, Natural Gas & Technical Services, Andrew is responsible for Cenovus’s conventional oil and natural gas assets in Western Canada and the company’s offshore assets in Asia Pacific. He also oversees the company’s technical functions, including well delivery and technology development.

Andrew has been involved in the oil and gas industry for more than 25 years, with experience in technical operations, commercial management, and upstream and downstream roles. Andrew joined Cenovus in 2021 as Executive Vice-President, Safety & Operations Technical Services and most recently served as Executive Vice-President, Corporate & Operations Services. Prior to joining Cenovus, Andrew spent nine years at Husky Energy in various senior roles, including Executive Vice-President, Western Canada Upstream. Before joining Husky, Andrew had a 19-year career with Shell in Europe, the Middle East and Canada.

Andrew holds a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College, London, UK and a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) from the University of Surrey, UK.
