We’re Building Better Roads through Research and Technology

September 2021 – Building better roads is more than just a slogan for our Asphalt operations – it’s something put into practice every day! The Asphalt lab in Saskatoon, SK spends a lot of time testing new products and specifications to meet customer needs while continually improving critical infrastructure technology.

With expertise in using polymer-modified asphalt (PMA) to achieve superior performance, especially in hot and cold climates, our Asphalt operations recommended a portion of the of the highway near Rosetown, SK be paved with a PMA product. This marked the first PMA-paved highway in Saskatchewan.
