Sheila McIntosh
Executive Vice-President, Communications & Stakeholder Relations
As Executive Vice-President, Communications & Stakeholder Relations, Sheila is responsible for ensuring Cenovus builds strong relationships and communicates effectively with key company stakeholders. As such, she oversees investor, media, government, non-governmental organization and public relations, as well as the company's corporate responsibility commitments, internal and external communications, and community investment activities. She is also responsible for the company's brand and for developing and maintaining a strong company reputation.
Prior to her current role, Sheila was Executive Vice-President, Corporate Communications at Cenovus's predecessor company. Sheila has worked in the fields of communications, investor and media relations, and public and government affairs for more than 25 years. She spent six years with Canada's Department of Foreign Affairs in New York City. Upon her return to Calgary she worked for Canadian Pacific Limited as Vice-President, Corporate Communications and Investor Relations.
Sheila has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandon University, a Library and Information Science degree from the University of Alberta, and a Masters of Business Administration degree from McGill University.
Sheila is a member of the Dean's Advisory Board for the University of Calgary's Faculty of Medicine. She has served as a Director of the Calgary YWCA and the Canadian Investor Relations Institute.
